30/07/2007 - During the last few weeks many new options have been added to this website, Visitor's Guide Online.
We now offer an online booking system, where you can make reservations for accommodation - not only in Iceland but in a number of other countries as well. The booking system is divided into "Accommodation in Iceland" and "Worldwide Accommodation". You can either browse through our selection of hotels or narrow the search by using the advanced options to enter your special requirements. After choosing your accommodation the system leads you through four steps of booking - and your reservation is confirmed. Couldn't be simpler! Moreover, the booking system is available in 16 different languages, so everyone should be able to work in their preferred language.
Another novelty on Visitor's Guide Online is our Forum. Here you can read - and share - travel stories from around the world as well as recommendations and comments on various aspects of travelling in Iceland. Bring up your questions, and concerns or share your experiences of Iceland, Icelanders and travelling.
Along with these improvements on the website, more material is being added and much is being reviewed. Check out our Photogalleries and Article section for new and interesting material.
