Eldhestar offers a variety of riding tours all from one hour up to a week on horseback. We offer tours that suit each individual. Over the years Eldhestar has also developed diffrent packages which give the guests the possibility to combine a comfortable Hotel stay at our Hotel Eldhestar with experiancing the icelandic horse in its natural enviroment and its versatility. Hotel Eldhestar is situated at Vellir in Ölfus very close to the town Hveragerdi, and is only a little more than 30-minute drive away from Reykjavík. We offer pickup from hotels, guesthouses and tourist informations. With a two year old we have been finding it challenging to get out of the city and take in some of the more remote sights, including farms and local country food.
